Brother Fred H. Heisel Jr.

Fred H. Heisel Jr. was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on November 9, 1910 and educated in the Cincinnati Public Schools. He graduated from the University of Cincinnati where he attended Evening College.

While at the University he was initiated into the Beta Eta Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity in 1950 and was in Good Standing for Over 50Years.

Fred served the Fraternity in many Leadership roles and stressed giving back to the community’. He was instrumental in establishing the Cincinnati Alumni Scholarship Fund which later became the Fred Heisel Scholarship Fund.

Fred’s Dream was for the Cincinnati Alumni Chapter to own a Fraternity House. That Dream became a reality in the Mid-1980’s

Fred was a Life Member of Kappa Alpha Psi and encouraged every Brother to become a Life Member.

Fred was very generous to the Cincinnati Alunmi Chapter financially and with his active participation in all Fraternity sponsored activities.

The Kappa House of Beecher Street in Walnut Hills bears Fred’s Name.

Here’s to Brother Fred, a Kappa Man's Kappa who entered into the Chapter Invisible December 2001.
